I think it=E2=80=99s the same problem as on a Guix system. The Guix we hav= e at build time is not the same as the Guix at runtime. For some things this doesn=E2=80=99t matter (or shouldn=E2=80=99t matter) =E2=80=94 like the der= ivation stuff; for other things it very much matters =E2=80=94 like packages and records used = to describe them.
