If the problem is that the build daemon is sandboxed and doesn't have inter= net access, it is also feasible to have one stage of the build process down= load all the resources specified in Cargo.lock (and cache this in /gnu/stor= e) and rewrite `version =3D "x.y.z"` to `path =3D "x/y/z"` before everythin= g is passed to the build daemon.
