setting up a new printer

Hi Guix,

I was setting up a new printer but when I wanted to print in emacs
it gave me this message:

Send selected text to default printer? (y or n) y
Spooling with options -P HP_Officejet_J4500-series -o 
sides=two-sided-long-edge -o number-up=2...
condition-case: Spooling with options -P HP_Officejet_J4500-series -o 
sides=two-sided-long-edge -o number-up=2...done: 
/home/gfp/.guix-profile/bin/lpr: Error - The printer or class does not 
exist.

I set up the new printer in cups and

I also edided the init.el file in emacs to change the printer name.
So I don't know at the moment what I can do.

Does 'lpstat -v' (in the 'cups' package) list 'HP_Officejet_J4500-series' (exactly, no typoes)?

thanks very much.

I must have been blind that evening.

I changed the _ and - already, but it didn’ work either.

Now I checked everything again and changed again the name.

Now I can print in emacs.

I am happy.
