Hello guix helper team!, I'm having a bit of a trouble on guix system...
I'm unable to load the module 'openchrome', as it is inexistent, how should
I add a module on guix?
More details on openchromemoduleissue.org file
PD: I have to use slim, since gdm doesn't let me access any graphical mode.

* Xorg, 'openchrome' module doesn't exist:
** Xorg status
Everything works, loads the normal modules, which are: modesetting, vesa and fbdev
Module openchrome not loaded because it doesn't exist
*** lspci | grep VGA
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. CN896/VN896/P4M900 [Chrome 9 HC] (rev 01)
This output makes me think that in fact I need that module (better performance?)
** Steps performed
*** Searching the path of modules
module openchrome doesn't exist in the folder, thus the error appears
*** Loading xf86-video-openchrome
Using (set-xorg-configuration(xorg-configuration(modules(list "xf86-video-openchrome"))))
Reconfigure succesfully, but no change.
Replaced modules with drivers, no change
Tried adding xf86-video-openchrome as a global package, but no change.
*** Loading module "openchrome"
using (firmware '("openchrome")), reconfigure succesfully, but no luck.
** Conclusion
This all means that all I need to do is to load the module 'openchrome',
adding it to the config.scm file, or installing a package, in that case, which one.

I was exploring
https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/guix.git/tree/gnu/services/xorg.scm
But I can see that it does not load openchrome module by default on
(define %default-xorg-modules ...). How to add it?

There is one more closing parenthesis than openning parenthesis. Plus it
is necesary to add a module at the top in order to remove
gdm-service-type. I do not remember which.

Hi
You need to append
(srfi srfi-1) on line (use-modules gnu )
As describe in chapter 8.8.5
https://www.gnu.org/software/guix/manual/en/html_node/X-Window.html#X-Window
Cheers
Pierre
