postgres won't run

postgres won't run

I can start postgres with

sudo herd start postgresql

but after a short while it stops

Is anyone experiencing the same ?

Do you get useful hints in /var/log/shepherd.log, /var/log/messages, or
similar?

I'm sorry, I forgot to clarify here

Yes there were some messages in /var/log/messages and the issue was solved

Postgresql has been updated and the new vesion can't read data ffiles
written by the old version
