Yes, probably (this is not a problem when it=E2=80=99s used in a build
environment, because everything is under /nix/store anyway.)

If you want to look into it yourself, see ld-wrapper.scm.

The thing is that changing that file entails a full rebuild, since it=E2=80=
=99s
a dependency for pretty much everything.  So we=E2=80=99d stage the change =
along
with other world-changing patches.
