Hi all,

The latest mumi CLI (version 0.1.0) comes with two new
subcommands—www and compose.

Now, when an issue is current, you can open that issue in your web
browser using the www subcommand; and, you can compose a mail to that
issue using the compose subcommand.

For example,

$ mumi current 22138
#22138 Search paths of dependencies are not honored
opened on 10 Dec 2015 09:36 by Ludovic Courtès

$ mumi www
[opens the issue in your web browser]

$ mumi compose
[opens your mail client to compose an email to that issue with addresses
pre-filled correctly]

The www and compose subcommands rely on xdg-open to open your browser
and mail client correctly.

Cheers!
Arun

Nice!

Won’t work with Gnus, but nice still. ;-)

Should “we” (i.e., you :-)) add these examples to the “Debbugs User
Interfaces” section of the manual?

Thanks,
Ludo’.

You should be able to customize `url-mail-command`, see "(url) mailto".

If it's a matter of getting our .desktop files working correctly for
different email clients, we should do so. It would be good to have this
working out of the box for everyone, including people who use webmail
clients like gmail. The larger purpose of the mumi CLI client is to have
good tooling for our non-Emacs users too.

He, he! :-) Sure, will do!

Regards,
Arun
