FWIW I don=E2=80=99t see it on the whole Guix system here. > I'm on Debian 7.6 with the packages libcanberra-gtk-module and > libcanberra-gtk3-module. Is it possible to make emacs > find the system installed libcanberra library? Using the host distro=E2=80=99s libcanberra would likely fail in unexpected ways. Perhaps the solution would be to add libcanberra as an input to the =E2=80=98emacs=E2=80=99 package, in emacs.scm. Would you like to try that? > Also I'm wondering about the meaning of the second line. I don=E2=80=99t think Emacs uses GConf for anything serious, so I wouldn=E2= =80=99t worry about that. ;-) Thanks, Ludo=E2=80=99.
