Sorry for the late notice: the Reproducible Build Summit will take place from Oct. 31st to Nov. 2nd in Berlin this year: https://reproducible-builds.org/events/berlin2017/ In the two previous editions, there were always 2 or 3 Guix there: Manolis, John, Ricardo, and myself participated. I won=E2=80=99t be able to make it this year, but it would be sad if Guix were missing, especially since there=E2=80=99s been quite a few people working on reproducibility in Guix. Please let us know if you=E2=80=99d like to come! I=E2=80=99ve really enjoyed the previous summits. It=E2=80=99s a great way= to discuss reproducibility with other projects, share each project=E2=80=99s view, and discuss the way forward. Among the forward-looking sessions we had last year was how we could make reproducible builds directly =E2=80=9Cvisible=E2=80=9D and =E2=80=9Cus= eful=E2=80=9D to users (I think and =E2=80=98guix challenge=E2=80=99 are= examples of that), and how we can address the problem of opaque bootstrap binaries (which led to Ricardo=E2=80=99s work on Java and Haskell bootstrapping, the bootstrappable.org web site, and meshes well with the independently-started effort around Mes/stage0!). So, who=E2=80=99s in? :-) Ludo=E2=80=99. --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAEBCAAdFiEEPORkVYqE/cadtAz7CQsRmT2a67UFAlnV9kgACgkQCQsRmT2a 67XE9xAAr4CQMIk75TV4skn49AdjVP5x3PiUuVcLeJOQ1wXJ6iq1KlfaLusWPF8x gUd6sNaCwFWRmGQiIjtP+lIbDzVILNb8ponjM4BaqM0mqjEaRWqpJsj2q/srbj9+ pBPuViMeRRPZ88v2FlAiazwJp22rKnkAO3XouuiVzCp6FCAapOiUNyyej5jVDds6 3SssUiyjszsxhOSWtqJDlkEIIsnZquXH4WUqxzNbNZ+jkcHbl6/iDIoMXReX0I/z RI5jcHnQ/8F7PHi8F4g/kQZCJ87KTC5yVpM6vhsTgnmMbO2eBR9kYE+xfWcUk2dk yXHOgYb089rz1861hzQviuO9UKKW/LsaNBmeuBWdzOoH1WlS6xKR7dkL3/h5rWlZ C6NSee58n74kna2Tg0AgeBPGLmmJBKFrNDzJpWtunAVgfqO2C8FrAbDFXnQjBFsv 6MTxyUnOfLr++zCSjgVTkS0HsnB0quTgXJvcNgYkJJQwXURZqP7ZiLVuaOk1oetG c1XN78RMl6U4Bd85Q8RjV30LHo7SOJysjr6lqZ7x+85VbxGSYNbsYce4qzHpzjnX vn/M2kNu9yFKHzi4W1oZWAKfYbN76rz9F0uu5pjuUNPqE2RApLXIUCqcR8HE8PB2 8uDOqMWdfE5Zy3v6o6NIAJB8yRgpB1eN90v3fe593JDlwd/5A0k= =5tIV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=--
