Hello, I have an old guixsd installation that I haven't upgraded for a
few months.
When I run guix pull it tells me to install guile-git, but that fails,
both from normal guix and ./pre-inst-env

./pre-inst-env guix package -i guile-git
guix package: error: build failed: getting attributes of path
`/gnu/store/aiz8db2gni401wc9fgidmcggxyb1czis-guile-bootstrap-2.0': No
such file or directory

The same thing happens when I run guix package -u

Does anyone have an idea what's happening here?

Could it be that your checkout is configured with the wrong
localstatedir? (Search for “localstatedir” in the manual.)

HTH,

Also, I don't know if this helps, but some time ago I found out that
root user's profile doesn't need to have guile-git installed. While the
normal users have to.
