Apparently what happens here is that =E2=80=98read-partition-uuid=E2=80=99,= called by =E2=80=98user-partition->file-system=E2=80=99, returns #f, and that value i= s then passed to =E2=80=98uuid->string=E2=80=99. There are two ways =E2=80=98read-partition-uuid=E2=80=99 can return #f: 1. the partition doesn=E2=80=99t have one of the types listed in =E2=80=98%partition-uuid-readers=E2=80=99; 2. the partition does not exist or is EIO (see use of =E2=80=98ENOENT-saf= e=E2=80=99 in =E2=80=98partition-field-reader=E2=80=99). So most likely the problem is #2. Now, when we reach this code (from =E2=80=98user-partitions->configuration= =E2=80=99), partitions have been created. I wonder if there=E2=80=99s a possibility th= at the kernel hasn=E2=80=99t yet updated /dev by the time we reach this? =E2=80=98free-parted=E2=80=99 is supposed to avoid that though. WDYT, Mathieu? Ludo=E2=80=99.
