They were not working in a guix shell in kitty in hyprland in a tty.

I found the culprit, a theme unsupported by gnome was selected as cursor
theme in dconf, I suppose hyprland set it to an hyprcursor theme?

Also, this applied to me:

Is it possible that providing an hyprcursor theme with hyprland would
avoid this issue?
