It contains the documentation of the currently-packaged Guix snapshot:

We update the snapshot once every few weeks.

Eventually =E2=80=98guix pull=E2=80=99 will be able to update guix.info; it=
 doesn=E2=80=99t do
that currently, which is a problem as you noticed.

Try =E2=80=9Cmake && make html=E2=80=9D.

However, I think you should try =E2=80=98info=E2=80=99 again.  The interfac=
e is not any
weirder than that of a browser after all, see =E2=80=9Cinfo info=E2=80=9D. =
