Descriptions *are* difficult, especially for tools you are unfamiliar with. It does not help that upstream descriptions are often targeting a highly specialized demographic, whereas we are catering for a much wider audience. I try to make them generic, and include some information about why the user would want this package/how it's used. Occasionally I'll browse the packages at gnu.org/s/guix for inspiration. (or look at Debians description, but don't tell anyone) Writing the code is comparatively easy :-) --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQEzBAEBCgAdFiEEu7At3yzq9qgNHeZDoqBt8qM6VPoFAlrVLhMACgkQoqBt8qM6 VPoGXggAq19sjfVpvvIu8KhFRgZsF9r+BRR/aUlkjYFgT1Ji57lPH2YF4ECrNjZX P9EpIlUk0ToUZe7Rqq+K7A7unVaCDLzcmGpxgAXIji8218ay5brlUbRU+d9i9Ap6 YZt8wxkngdIc8/bK+mGQoJF7/gtxcEEn+72r/g5fJLvAQShxTuSPZXaWQV9KIgXR RU1CXZ1I3VKHZpPl8d9Px0GRPjBfOd1GZpiXNdWdKYS4mHGoK49f2ssMBVXEBhCz X5oI78OiCF0Qy2LgwFcEDMYiMX1nuYyeJAkvftEn79RfdtA4/9bPwCZg3H3cJ0d8 q68KalqdKh3PaxeNrww8WKs3xxQ4iA== =Bn8O -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=--
