Namely, the =E2=80=98services=E2=80=99 fields of your =E2=80=98operating-sy= stem=E2=80=99 declaration is (very likely) a superset of =E2=80=98%base-services=E2=80=99. =E2=80=98%ba= se-services=E2=80=99 includes =E2=80=98guix-service=E2=80=99, which automatically adds the =E2=80=98guix= =E2=80=99 package provided by (gnu packages package-management) to /run/current-system/profile. As you can see in (gnu packages package-management), the =E2=80=98guix=E2= =80=99 package is a Git snapshot dating back to May 14th. HTH! Ludo=E2=80=99.
