Subject: bug#66309: [Hurd] ext2fs crash while building GCC
Date: Mon, 02 Oct 2023 17:35:10 +0200 [thread overview]

Hello!
As discussed on IRC today, I tried to build GCC natively by offloading
it to my childhurd. Turns out that it crashes the system after a while;
I could get this interesting hint via VNC:
[-- Attachment #2: Screenshot showing the ext2fs crash. --]

[-- Attachment #3: Type: text/plain, Size: 179 bytes --]
I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens under memory pressure. This
childhurd is configured with (memory-size 2048) though, which should be
enough for everyone?
Ludo’.
