=E2=80=9Cguix pull=E2=80=9D uses the latest version of Guix, not the curren=
t version.
=E2=80=9Cguix build guile-ssh=E2=80=9D on the other hand uses the current v=
ersion.

I would assume that =E2=80=9Cguix build /gnu/store/pg535xxhnx3x5bykr37p8khx=
ak6vq6sh-guile-ssh-0.11.2.drv=E2=80=9D would
fail again.  It may be interesting to see the difference between the
failing derivation and the derivation that matches your run of =E2=80=9Cgui=
x
build guile-ssh=E2=80=9D.
