guile-sdl2 and guile-sly: Missing info pages

guile-sdl2 and guile-sly: Missing info pages

I've noticed that the info manuals of guile-sdl2 and guile-sly are
installed but they are not available from the directory node.  Bug?

Also Sly's homepage needs to be updated to

	http://dthompson.us/projects/sly.html

But ~/.guix-profile/share/info/dir points to a /gnu/store item which
does not contain either guile-sdl2 nor guile-opengl.  guile-sdl is fine though.

How could this possibly happen?  Re-installing the package does not
solve the issue.
Any idea?

Could it be that the .texi files in guile-sdl2 and guile-opengl lack
proper @dircategory and @direntry markup?

You are right, actually all programs by Dave Thompson
(https://dthompson.us/) lack that markup.  I've reported it to him.

That said, I've never really understood why Texinfo does not "do the
right thing" there and generates the entry automatically.

How would it know what to generate?  :-)

Having a command to define those entries explicitely is
fine.  But for simpler manuals where only one entry is enough, and that
entry is merely the title, it would also be nice if Texinfo would derive
it automatically from the title.
