Thank you. I in fact did look for any contacts that might be more related to mirror admins than this mailing list, but no avail. Does it mean that I have to continue report such issues here?

Yes, thanks, that is what ‘guix package -i’ itself says. :-)
Yet, as much as https://hydra.gnu.org is slow, it could be faster to download the substitutes from there, where they are *not* corrupted (at least these two).
