I haven't experienced this problem. Thanks for your data! I am using the same version of systemd. I tried strace and there is nothing obvious that say guix is involved in the unmounting, other than a lot of disk IO. Based on internet search results, and the fact that it has been happening more frequently, I am beginning to suspect my hard drive plus or minus btrfs (not wanting to cast aspersions because btrfs has otherwise been very well behaved). Myles
