I tried to reproduce that in a VM by running hostapd and using the neat =E2=80=98mac80211_hwsim=E2=80=99 kernel module. However, hostapd=E2=80=99s config file doesn=E2=80=99t allow empty SSIDs. = So I set the SSID to =E2=80=9C =E2=80=9D (a single space), but that=E2=80=99s correctly = handled by the installer.
