Hi all,

Hope you're in the holiday season mood for a Guix Social this *Thursday*
- Christine Lemmer-Webber will be giving a talk with the latest news
about Spritely, Hoot (Guile in the browser) and distributed communities.

It's on Thursday 12th December:

18:00 UTC, 18:00 GMT (London), 19:00 CET (Paris), 13:00 EST (New York)

There are further details on this Wiki page [0] which you can subscribe
to so you're notified of changes. Or, alternatively you can join the
Meetup group [1]

If you haven't heard of Christine and don't know about the Spritely
Institute's mission you've missed a treat! Here's two links to get you
started:

And, to kick-off 2025 Andrew Tropin will be giving a talk on January
16th about Arei/Ares: A Modern, Extensible IDE for Guile Scheme. All the
details on the Wiki/Meet-up!

Thanks,

Steve / Futurile on behalf of the Guix Social team

Just a reminder, yes in fact I will be speaking, in just a couple of
hours! I'm really hoping to see some friendly Guix faces there, we have
a lot to talk about! Spritely loves and uses Guix a lot, and I think
the Spritely, Guile, and Guix communities have an amazing opportunity to
make a better future for *everyone* on the internet together... and I'm
going to talk about why that is! :)

 - Christine
