xfce has a release model like this:
https://www.xfce.org/about/releasemodel
Currently, this means 4.16 is the released version, 4.17 is the
development version (which becomes 4.18).
I think wikipedia is wrong here, because the announcement of 4.17.5
(https://mail.xfce.org/pipermail/xfce-announce/2021-September/001059.html)
says:

Make a patch that just does that.
Maybe, it could be useful to mention the reason for the inclusion of
gvfs, but I'm not sure.
