The =E2=80=98guix=E2=80=99 command uses whatever code is pointed to by ~/.config/guix/latest=C2=B9, which is normally updated by =E2=80=98guix pul= l=E2=80=99. You mentioned fiddling with that symlink manually, no? Running =E2=80=98guix pull=E2=80=99 will update that symlink to the latest = code.
