Its maintainer was struggling to keep up with any releases at all, which is why Mark Weaver stepped up backporting security patches for Guix. I'm not sure how much effort is involved with running the script and issuing a new release. > At any rate, people interested in this should probably team up with the > IceCat people (person?) to see how we can together move in the right > direction. Please do contact maintainers@gnu.org if anyone is interested! Rub=C3=A9n Rodr=C3=ADguez is IceCat's maintainer and is an employee at the = FSF. I proposed to both rms and John Sullivan at different points that maybe IceCat maintenance can be made part of Rub=C3=A9n's responsibilities at the FSF. The FSF recently announced a paid contact position for LibreJS, so maybe at some point IceCat can see some attention too. =2D-=20 Mike Gerwitz Free Software Hacker+Activist | GNU Maintainer & Volunteer GPG: D6E9 B930 028A 6C38 F43B 2388 FEF6 3574 5E6F 6D05 https://mikegerwitz.com --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQIcBAEBCgAGBQJa/mJbAAoJEIyRe39dxRuixTIP/3C/gJKqZJwpsUtYZs4KQNum /3He6WomyqXbeH2+eugQIpBtHrHWtMg+EnjpWs45vT0KccSrOAhPhS0mSx0MDWJ1 Ftu1wKGCtJNjf+r7AwyuYLwD6V+JyyvzFrCuQvTUZMnwB614lvpvP/128YA4tbY3 irObulrMJG6RNMS17LDM5n7vdKaD/IJMHtps8QRJVfRBm2MdDeDcoqRfqoMPi1TI k3eRKvNU8km2MtmOAvY5QNM83viIG1GIbTDKWj7lVwQNznv5D9i7kTemUDVKn1SC K9kMk3nWjoiIhtSEP5mP9P3sXNQUpo2BlCza8Gt0wGpdYeknCFSjETXVMaZ63hp1 xESr+scWH7KCkOKfOs4Op4VsVRFkftl0XMA1mV/BHIfn4coJERFG5+crjuxrbtGV vHmcQ/YfI2ZjtaXW5oub7m0spUQE/tIE4uLZKgVnHoyrFrS3cq57h7FoSlKtCAu4 r4xtpht9z0q1tIpq97kS+2x2npfbIDal6sb5gQtgtQTWB3nJjTj4xm0ee/cVM2ns G7i9WkNNHM9zFPZqMTJ4xZ+UrqBxFLgaHwcihcj6JXwSNBrq1exbdGOsSBEj1FZq t2gNXtvqiqRyjDjB/FCfyfh/K/poMhxO3b2yQiqTtBhe1uKRSHYwByGzTkTSTQ9i Y3yFcc+jJe3yHCszmOvb =AP8G -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=--
