Yes, this is correct.  A manifest declares the contents of a single
profile.  By passing a manifest file to =E2=80=9Cguix package -m=E2=80=9D y=
ou tell it to
only install the declared packages and remove everything else.

You can instantiate different manifest to different profiles by also
passing =E2=80=9C-p /path/to/other/profile=E2=80=9D.  You can combine them =
in a session
by source-ing each of the profiles=E2=80=99 =E2=80=9Cetc/profile=E2=80=9D f=
iles.
