There's no evidence of > CONFIG_SCSI_ISCI in there, not even "# CONFIG_SCSI_ISCI is not=20 > set". CONFIG_SCSI_ISCI depends on CONFIG_SCSI_LOWLEVEL. Is it set? That's the only possibility I see, apart from the obvious=20 CONFIG_SCSI. Otherwise, share your (Guix-generated, final) .config. > It's not clear why this happens with my custom build and not=20 > with linux-libre... > Can you help me debug this issue? > Moreover, where is created the list of module required by=20 > "linux-modules" ? I'm confused by your explicit reference to=20 gnu/build/linux-modules[.scm], which provides a set of mechanisms=20 to work with modules. It *should* not set policies or =E2=80=98require=E2= =80=99=20 any ones in particular. Does it? Do you mean =E2=80=98%base-initrd-modules=E2=80=99 in=20 ? This static list can be frustrating, but we can easily remove=20 elements from it or even replace it entirely: (operating-system =E2=80=A6 (initrd-modules ((@ (rnrs lists) remove) "isci" %base-initrd-modules)) =E2=80=A6) What I suggest you do instead (because it's what I do to my=20 kernels :-) is simply ship a =E2=80=98%xenomai-initrd-modules=E2=80=99 vari= able=20 along with your =E2=80=98xenomai-linux=E2=80=99 package, keep them in perfe= ct=20 harmony yourself, and ask users to use both.
