The error message is extremely unhelpful for > someone who doesn't know what it actually means. This means you need to specify a service that provides 'networking'. Along with 'dhcp-client-service' (as David mentioned), also 'static-networking-service', 'wicd-service', 'network-manager-service' and 'connman-service' provide 'networking' (I'm not sure if all of them are in a good working shape though).
