Hi, if I understand correctly, the "main" UglifyJS is the one written in Node, while the Common Lisp version is just an alternative, which hasn't been updated since 2015. I could not find much information beyond this. Any details, any one? It seems that your patch remove the public `uglify-js', which we should not do since it would break backward compatibility.
