Hi Vincent, Jack, and Maxim, Thank you for the quick replies! OK, so gcc differs for each of us: * Chris: 8aca7f332a1ba8e3c2225c161a7545b0a04ddd690d164dc97afee9c9ea067b0c49bc155e9f06d285c22e24cdd16d91e59730af5f1dd9efcda13a26bede5948a2 * Vincent: 87f7583cf483ac3ba0ab978862873e68757bc4ddd10f739a90a9e4598f79e7fa45ec369c6efcff8d72fba87ea99f1e7a01a39450c7bf20790bc1d89d4b69a15b * Jack: 15f93200ef1cdde5a5721b1d4cfb4c9c5e22b4b945c77f56f60c388da99cf557d13474d14205a529cf9af9f29fb69591e17392387c0444e0efb7c85edcf30ff0 * Maxim: 841f1839c041512f893d5fa62fbc402dda1589222ee5365849d2e3f0a55df7abd0ca856c302b4d7ef80d07abfa6b04468cc494efdccbc097df2eceb181eebd15 I have opened up a bug report for this issue, so we can continue the discussion there: https://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=41669 I will try on my end to obtain a differing gcc to see if I can analyze the difference. In the meantime, could you share your gcc with me so I can see what the contents looks like? This is mine: https://media.marusich.info/gcc-stripped-5.5.0-powerpc64-linux-gnu.tar.xz Hopefully we can pinpoint the source of the non-determinism and fix it! -- Chris
