I never bothered to try to make it faster; I'm intrigued that you were able to make it better at all. You may also consider doing the following to speed things up: =2D Use compression (e.g., "ssh -C") (helps quite a bit in some cases) =2D Limit the color palette to the fewest colors possible (helps a little) =2D-=20 Chris --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAEBCAAdFiEEy/WXVcvn5+/vGD+x3UCaFdgiRp0FAlpe9NEACgkQ3UCaFdgi Rp03yQ/8CKpfhHeNl1cDWoMvk7ymprhyUcF9+C9Z3ikBxOCzCa2o+YqDrWmnoXyH nrNLhHLFswZNTQ/NnPK3Dhnb1xQxK4TdDpo66incLbxeTzvEVr19oSi/Xxe6L+G3 s2jeW/KhJhanL8c17fla1/wY0Y0a7Yv44jTYiB33tuILHqFhumiT1pmVYpWJbyC0 cSk/92SxrAD5uRBGJ3Rn2hPZPMk7vHchCAIIwDt75fKCvdHFacsdvSt84wnQzJmR /WKWrc9v6GMkRsn1YyfcE9lxzAnVl+1qjVJE9shSZHSFxIRVUwQm5hTFqKfyoyRW CkpfzOuz8DlDqCbK+MFpY9MlAme7IzKn1cw7+bvufQf5i8KNbK1dcY3Z/WjajVYM YH65CSz059R76pm+C3OHW/2Mg8zwmbr1DXhQYHKsqYrbmkEhPcPyJPlNvmrWQ1xu YA7Blsjb/apnt1cKcuRdSa8zc5sx8mKjTiJ5kFwBeli/FUrBYsjmG5VodPL0DKUR zh764lh+ZEidXyTMoADdZxfkHrrnRHdVv9xcjI+EjeujoODEoYLIRDh8AO9x8lWt Hg7FUL/Ka63tyK7pmh0APsWBGk2cLUpkrrG8u7aoDLTsHrOmJl+N9kN9zFs4R+cQ xK1PtkiUEJ6vXY3NRPbkTfg1gSx9OsAzOY+GNID2/CL96udX81k= =jXQr -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=--
