German language mistake in the answer if I do a : guix package --upgrade --dry-run

Hello german Guixers,

If I do a

guix package --upgrade --dry-run

it says in German language:

"Die folgenden Pakete würden aktualisiert:"

It should be:

"Die folgenden Pakete würden aktualisiert werden:"

It's missing one word at the end: "werden".

Without that word it sounds strange in German language.

It's a form of abbreviation, but it doesn't sound good.

In my understanding, I would change that.


Can somebody forward that email to the right persons in order to check 
it and change it, if they agree?

Both of these sentences are correct here, though the second one is more
common in colloqial use.  In the first sentence “würde” is the
Konjunktiv II form of “werden”, whereas “würde” + inf. verb in the
second sentence is a pattern to avoid modification of the verb.

Personally, I prefer the first variant, because it is correct grammar
and a little more elegant.

It's a tiny point to spend words on but I agree with Ricardo's
reading. Germans often construct around the simple subjunctive because
it sounds too short. The extended forms are arguably a form of
hypercorrection.

Yes, exactly. :)  It is better to keep the current translation IMHO
because these sentences come in pairs, one with --dry-run and one
without --dry-run, and I would prefer to keep them the same except for
the subjunctive.
