I’ve just renamed ‘bsd-style’ in (guix licenses) to ‘non-copyleft’,
which is less ambiguous (see
<http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/words-to-avoid.html#BSD-style>.)
(The old binding is still there to avoid breakage, but we’ll remove it
eventually.)
Thanks,
Ludo’.

Sounds like a good decision; I asked myself when to use bsd-style before
because the BSD licenses are each pretty specific and also distinct.
(Are there even any non-BSD licenses that use the BSD-style numbered
list of clauses?)
Another one of my confusions was why we have "x11-style" but not
"expat-style". But I guess non-copyleft covers that now.
