Whoops.

weird.  guix/build/linux-module-build-system.scm sets CROSS_COMPILE up so it
should have worked.

Did it print the message

    (format #t "`CROSS_COMPILE' set to `~a'~%"
               (getenv "CROSS_COMPILE")))
