Hello,
your patch reminds me that duplicity does not pass its tests on hydra,
neither on x86_64, nor on i686. Could you maybe have a look? Logs are here:

I see, thanks for poiting that out. I'll look at those failures a bit
later when I'm on a machine that is not plagued by the
CONFIG_DEVPTS_MULTIPLE_INSTANCES issue.
