Yes, I just skimmed through the "Guix Profiles in Practice" recipe in the C=
ookbook, and that seems to be what I should be using.

=C2=AB[...] you can think of a profile as a kind of universal =E2=80=98virt=
ualenv=E2=80=99 that can hold any kind of software whatsoever, not just Pyt=
hon software.=C2=BB

I'll give it a try.

In my humble opinion, the "Guix Profiles in Practice" recipe should be conv=
erted into a section in the manual (called "Profiles"). I thought it was a =
nice overview.
