Attached is a patch to change the kernel configurations. Two things
are done:

I turned off CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO so that local builds aren't so
enormous. It also turns off the nvidiafb module based on bug report
I've received for my own kernel repository. Nouveau has its own
framebuffer device and it looks like they conflict if you load both.
