Hi Guix,

When I install LibreOffice in Guix SD, the menus are in English, unlike my
desktop environment, and when I look at language settings in LibreOffice,
only English is available.

Are other languages available for LibreOffice? How to select a language
other than English?

Thanks,
David.

LibreOffice interface translations have not been packaged in Guix yet.
So, its interface is currently only available in English.

I do not know whether anyone is working on packaging LibreOffice
interface translations. I could not find any other discussions about
that in this and development mailing lists, IRC archives, and the issue
tracker. It may be a good idea to report the issue to the tracker to
increase the chances of it being worked on eventually.

Roman

Hi,

I asked this already approx. 2 years ago, and Ludo answered that time:
that it is not packed yet, and it is difficult to pack it.

So I am waiting myself.

Probably there were more important things to do first.

If more people want that, hopefully somebody takes time to pack it.

Gottfried
