Subject: KDE desktop does not recognize network-manager plugins
Date: Fri, 1 Mar 2024 11:34:34 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <cae7566e-6029-aebb-aabe-92839edf9608@gmail.com> (raw)

Hi Guixers

I tried to use the network-manager-openconnect and network-manager-vpnc
plugins in KDE with the following setup:

   (network-manager-service-type
     config => (network-manager-configuration
       (inherit config)
       (dns "dnsmasq")
       (vpn-plugins
       (list network-manager-openconnect
	    network-manager-vpnc))))

but KDE desktop does not recognize the plugins (they are not visible in
the "Connections" menu and also on the command line when running nmcli.

The same setup works fine on GNOME.

Thanks for any help!

Best,
Reza
