after having reconfigured successully, attempting to experiment with qemu
some more
guix system vm /etc/vm-config-desktop.scm \
> --image-size=30GB \
> --expose=$HOME \
> --share=$HOME/share=/exchange
I get this

was the "latest" guix compiled with an old guile ?
