Hi, just pitching in to say: I did exactly this (enable guix from
NixOS) and can confirm it appears to work.

However, it's only on the latest stable channel (23.11). If you're on
an old channel, you'll need to upgrade. You can find instructions for
how to do so in the NixOS docs, or here:
