Do yo mean

        (define %my-channels
          (read-this-channel-file "path/to/one-channels-file.scm"))

        (with-channels %my-channels
          (package …))

It depends on you walk the packages list.  I agree that it should be
done automatically at “guix pull” time (or at inferior time).
