The reason is that in general you=E2=80=99ll want =E2=80=98gcc-toolchain=E2= =80=99, not =E2=80=98gcc=E2=80=99. =E2=80=98gcc-toolchain:lib=E2=80=99 contains libstdc++ and co. HTH! Ludo=E2=80=99.
