Not directly (the generated image doesn’t mount anything by itself), but
it could correspond to the image layers maybe?

Maybe you could try different values of ‘guix pack --max-layers=…’?
When ‘--max-layers’ is omitted, the resulting image contains a single
layer AIUI (according to the default value of
‘%docker-image-max-layers’).
