You should not have to. I assume ~/guix-packages is a set of custom modules. GUIX_PACKAGE_PATH affects all of Guix. But it won=E2=80=99t be available when you use =E2=80=9Csudo=E2=80=9D unless you tell =E2=80=9Csudo= =E2=80=9D to keep the currently set environment (e.g. with =E2=80=9Csudo -E=E2=80=9D). =E2=80=9Cguix system reconfigure=E2=80=9D must run with root permissions. --=20 Ricardo
