It rings a bell. I had a similar issue recently. Something related,
IIRC, is reported in the bug tracker and possible a workaround, but I am
not able to find it. Sorry.
Well, in my case, I just do not load the profile by default, i.e., I
manually load the profile and not via some Shell configuration files.
