I have only ever used Samsung EVO (those with orange label and those
with grey label) in my machines. Of those machines one used Libreboot
and it had no problems detecting the SSD.
(I can’t guarantee that this is true for the current generation of
Samsung EVO SSDs, but I have no information to doubt it.)
