Puede tratar la instalacion de Guix (solo gestión de paquetes), ver la nota:
https://guix.gnu.org/manual/es/guix.es.html#Instalaci_00f3n-binaria
y usar los paquetes de Guix. Funcionaria con sistema Linux arbitrario
(Debian o Knoppix). Pienso que es la manera la mas facil de contestar a
tus preguntas.
El problema es que tu maquina es un poco bajo por construir todo de
fuente. Y los sustituciones binarios estan en Europa (Berlin),
entonces, una conexion a Internet se necesita.
