In my mind, = it was exactly the use case you are describing with the option to select the =E2=80=9Ctype=E2=80= =9D of the graph. It has been =E2=80=9Crejected=E2=80=9D (not the word, but too lazy = to find the adequate one), mainly because I just wanted to list all the nodes (topologically sorted or not) and Ludo and Ricardo raised that it is not about =E2=80=9Cgraph=E2=80=9D. Anyway. Maybe it could go to =E2=80=9Cguix show=E2=80=9D. However, the current imp= lementation of =E2=80=9Cguix show=E2=80=9D uses =E2=80=9Cguix package --show=3D=E2=80= =9D, literally. And adding more things in =E2=80=9Cguix package=E2=80=9D does not seem a good idea, IHMO. In other words, instead of use (guix scripts package) in (guix scripts show), do the contrary. I have a patch that do that but never submitted because I have never felt the need or time to. Anyway. With the current tools, =E2=80=9Cguix refresh --list-transitive=E2=80=9D ma= ybe is enough for your needs. Note that the returned packages are not necessary the ones you can access at the CLI level, for instance =E2=80=99gcc=E2=80=99. Hope that helps, simon
