Dear All,
I'm trying to run the paprefs configurator for PulseAudio.
Unfortunately, it consistently fails with an error message of the form
GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 13:30:25.928: Settings schema
'org.freedesktop.pulseaudio.module-group' is not installed
Trace/breakpoint trap
A similar issue has arisen in other distros, where a workaround has been
developed
<https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/paprefs-pulseaudio-core-dumped-with-glib-gio-error-settings-schema-org-freedesktop-pulseaudio-module-group-is-not-installed.77370/>,
which involves obtaining a schema file from the upstream PulseAudio
source code, then running glib-compile-schemas. However, I can't
directly apply this workaround on Guix, because:
1. I don't know where in the Guix filesystem structure to put the schema
file.
2. I can't find what package to install to make the glib-compile-schemas
executable available in Guix.
Please advise.

Kind regards,
Daniel Hatton
